Raiffeisen Bank Romania activates brokerage services on the Bucharest Stock Exchange using CTS platform

Raiffeisen Bank Romania has officially reactivated its brokerage services on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), marking a significant milestone for the bank’s capital markets business and for the ongoing EDI transformation program. The event was celebrated with a bell-ringing ceremony at the BVB headquarters, confirming Raiffeisen Bank Romania’s status as a trading member of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

As part of this milestone, the CTS platform delivered by CTS TRADE IT has been put into production as the core back-office infrastructure, providing processing for brokerage, post-trade operations, and securities lifecycle management. The system now supports the bank’s operational participation in the Romanian market in compliance with local market standards and exchange connectivity.

For CTS TRADE IT, the launch represents a strategic expansion into the Romanian market and a new reference within the Raiffeisen Group network.

The go-live enables Raiffeisen Bank Romania to execute and settle transactions on the Bucharest Stock Exchange for its clients and lays the foundation for the next phases of the EDI program. Further development will continue throughout 2026, expanding product scope and operational capabilities.
