CTS TRADE IT introduces SDAT Reporter - automated regulatory reporting for the Czech National Bank

3. September 2026

CTS TRADE IT is expanding its product portfolio with SDAT Reporter, a standalone microservice for preparing, verifying, and submitting regulatory reports to the Czech National Bank’s SDAT system. The new solution transforms the entire process into an automated workflow and gives users centralized control over the status of reports, errors, and submission history.

Regulatory reporting is a process that places high demands on data accuracy, compliance with methodology, and full traceability. In practice, however, it often involves a series of manual steps from compiling the report and verifying data to monitoring the results and preparing any corrective submissions.

SDAT Reporter integrates these steps into a single managed process. The solution utilizes data recorded in CTS, automatically compiles the regulatory report, performs internal validations, generates the regulatory XML, and handles communication with the SDAT system. It then monitors the processing progress, retrieves the results of checks, and archives all individual submissions.

“Regulatory reporting is an area where high demands for accuracy, deadlines, and audit traceability converge. We developed SDAT Reporter so that the system handles as much routine work as possible while giving the user full control over every submission from the source data all the way to the processing result at the CNB,” says Tomáš Gavlas, CEO of CTS TRADE IT.

Key Benefits of SDAT Reporter

  • Automation of the entire reporting lifecycle - from planning reporting obligations to archiving the results.
  • Quality control before submission - the system detects most issues even before communicating with SDAT.
  • Efficient management of errors and corrected submissions - each specific error is linked to the violated rule, the record, and the source data.
  • Complete audit trail - all report versions, submitted XML files, SDAT responses, and audit results are recorded long-term.
  • Real-time overview of obligation fulfillment - users can view the schedule, processing status, and submission history all in one place.
  • Easy scalability - the solution is designed to accommodate all types of regulatory reports

Modern architecture, currently supported scope, and flexible scaling

SDAT Reporter is designed as a standalone microservice and complements the CTS platform with a comprehensive regulatory reporting suite. The user interface in CTS Explorer allows users to monitor the reporting schedule, initiate processing, evaluate errors, check the status in SDAT, submit corrected reports, and view the submission history at any time.

The architecture allows the solution to be further expanded to cover all types of regulatory reports submitted to the Czech National Bank and to respond to changes in regulatory requirements without unnecessarily disrupting other business processes.
